It's a family legacy! Here is my great-great-grandfather, photographed in the late 1800s, back when his home in the Balkans was part of the Ottoman Empire (now known as Yugoslavia).
A Little Bit About Me
I started painting in 1984, as a helper, for a very meticulous painting contractor. To say that he was a perfectionist is a huge understatement. He taught me all of the basics of painting, starting with the proper preparation required to do a “perfect” paint job. I learned, in great detail, how to sand properly, how to patch properly, how to caulk properly, how to replace window glazing properly, and how to clean up at the end of the day thoroughly. After approximately six months, I started to learn how to apply primer, and ultimately how to apply both water-base and oil-base paints properly.
After two years of training from my boss, I started to do small jobs of my own on weekends. Approximately one year later, my boss moved to Hawaii, and I took over working for his clients. I realized early on that painting was not only something I enjoyed, but something I could take pride in doing at a very high level. I enjoyed then, and still enjoy doing the best possible job for all my clients!! I take great pride in my work!!

A Little About the Company
Lance Goldberg Painting is an “owner operator” type of business, which means I, Lance Goldberg, the owner, will come out to your house, meet and talk with you to find out your desires, and answer any questions you might have about the project you are interested in. I feel it’s extremely important to understand what you are looking for, so that we are both on the same page. I will take notes, and then write up an estimate. When the job starts, I will be on site performing the work "as the operator" along with some qualified helpers who have been with me, and trained by me, for many years.
